... And Hey! That's me! Thank you for coming to my Studio website! My real name is Valerie. For over a decade, folks have hired me for animation and other creative projects as a Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, Prop Designer, Color Stylist, Children's Book Illustrator, Editor, Marketer, Copy Writer, Consultant/Influencer, and more. *phew!* In 2019 I started connecting directly with students and their families in the Los Angeles and Glendale Unified School Districts.
Want to know why I like to teach? I take pride in coming from a line of creative working women, in being a "geek", and in being the first in my family to make a professional career as an Artist. From the 'burbs of Boston to the Bay Area to LA, I've been learning and practicing the entire way.
