Brandy vs. Shaniqua
"Brandy vs. Shaniqua" is a dark comedy sketch for an adult audience.
Brandy Yammerstein is a deranged troublemaker and her best “frienemy” is the tempermental Shaniqua. Because Brandy is a b- with a very loud mouth, she’ll pester Shaniqua until she goes berserk... yet they always seem to have each other's back if anyone else gets involved.
Inspirations for this idea came from creating a sort of female "Beavis and Butthead" (MTV), with the violence and insanity of “Spy vs. Spy” (Mad Magazine). The show would be best as gag-oriented interstitials, but has the potential to be developed into a syndicate-length series. It is heavily stylized with extreme physical moments.
A general example of how an episode would unfold might be that Brandy will want to do or get something, and Shaniqua will put her down for it or not want to cooperate. So Brandy will mess with Shaniqua to get even, or try and manipulate (gaslight) her to get her way. This makes Shaniqua angry and eventually she'll get physical. The violence escalates, and in the end one or both of them die (possibly taking everyone else with them). If one of them survives, they are “the winner” of the episode.
